Wide open gap in front grill...What is Ford thinking?

Wow! Guys, that gille opening is important, if air does not get to your Intercooler, your charge (combustion air) temperature is going to rise, your ECU will pull engine timing and your loose power Unless you back off till the charge temperature drops, you will overheat your "All Aluminum" motor.

That opening isn't for the intercooler. It's no where near that opening, not on mine at least.

What AUX switch did you use? Looking at the specs of the dual 6" light bars for amperage draw (3.8 total amps) it would appear that the 5 AMP switches (switch 4-6) would be plenty good. I'd rather save the higher amperage circuits for bigger stuff if I ever wanted it.

I have my Diode Dynamics ditch lights on #3 and the bumper light bar on switch#2.

I would be more worried about catching birds in that gap. Driving backroads a lot they constantly fly up from the side of the road, I've had hundreds of close calls and even picked off a few over the years. I put a Mountains to Metal grill there and the big holes allow plenty of air flow. Aside from that, it looks much better than a hole. The pattern matches the rest of the grill. Heck, people remove their lower air dams just because it looks better.

OFC, I'm digging the color variation. Nice to see something outside the normal yellow.

Thanks. I am trying to go for the more classic retro amber color instead of the straight yellow that is popular now a days.

It's a completely different platform with a completely different engine and a completely different failure profile. It's literally useless information. Again, there've been infinitely more people absolutely convinced that there must be problems based on their storehouse of irrelevant information than there have been documented issues with this vehicle attributable to specific operating environments. Does that mean there can't be a problem that crops up down the road? Of course not--but it does mean that all the stuff that shows immediate symptoms hasn't happened. If there is a problem it almost certainly won't be something people predict because the obvious problems get addressed pretty early these days. (And yes, manufacturing quality has improved tremendously over the years. To deny that requires either rose colored glasses or intentional delusion.)
