Also - Lake Speed Jr.s oil channel. Just cause I'm nerdy.

I'll usually speed through the I do Cars vids. Like seeing things in pieces. Never ceases to amaze me at some of the high dollar engines that people maintain about as well as a lawnmower. Obviously didn't get regular oil changes, but they usually do get new windows in the crankcase.

I wouldn't let FordBossMe touch my truck with a damp wash mitt. I find him to be an idiot.

I am shocked Scanner Danner has not been mentioned, he is very detailed on scanner graphing and scope data.

Used to watch him all the time. Seems like he hasn't put out much content lately, although I see a video just came up in my feed the other day.
I used to love when he was helping his brother at his shop. They had me laughing my but off at times.

I got two that I guess aren’t “mechanics” as much as they are automotive entertainment. The first is ChrisFix. He may oversimplify some things, but I still enjoy watching. I learned some automotive terms and jargon from watching him, and it got me started on my journey towards learning to work on my own stuff.

the second is one I actually posted in the off topic section of the forums. It’s just some guy in the northern US working on old cars. No talking. Just the sweet sounds of working on old stuff. Some of his more recent videos you can turn on subtitles and he explains what he’s doing. Here’s the video that got me hooked:

Whichever one that has the info I'm looking for in a quick understandable format. Mo BS.
Only time I go looking at youtube is when I have a problem I'm looking to solve. Only one mentioned here that I've seen is Chrisfix though I couldn't tell you what he helped me fix. Most I see are just guys like me, figuring stuff out as needed to get the vehicle running again and I can appreciate that they took the time to save me some time.
Best one I've found, and couldn't tell you who it was, is the guy who helped me find and repair the broken wire in the harness between the body and door of my 2014 Edge. Saved me a lot of time and money on that one. Not to mention I looked like a superhero to the wife. :like:

I like Humble Mechanic's buddy Paul from Deutsche Auto Parts. His style is amusing, but my experience with VW/Audi has not been great. So I'm not too interested in his subject matter. He did do a review of spray-in valve cleaner. He didn't convince me.
I watch Pauls Vids when I see them, they are good, just not subscribed. I do take info from HM with a grain of salt, mostly just follow for the R32 content. His suspension install video was not good, I ended up using FCP Euros vid as a walk through when I did my suspension, it was more detailed and informative.

You mean SimonFordman? Yes, very entertaining. I wonder how he is able to not let out a cuss word or two when something goes wrong, like breaking a tool. That takes discipline to remain silent.

By far South Main Auto is my personal favorite, I Do Cars and Just Rolled In are very entertaining as well

My least favorite is Vice Grip Garage, ever since I saw the host blow compressed air from an air nozzle at his son, as I result I completely ignore the channel.

I made sure to leave comments on his idiocy and ignorance.

Ivan had strange one. Wish he would of dug into more, but I understand. Customer probably didn't want to get to deep into the pocket book. How that didn't fry the BCM I'll never know.
