I like South Main Auto. Eric knows his stuff and shares some personality. Plus, I relate to his Rust Belt orientation.

Another YouTuber who is just plain likable is Watch Wes Work. He's fixing rusty snowplow trucks a lot of the time, but he occasionally gets into some interesting fabrication with CNC machines and 3D printing. He edits cleverly and has a sense of humor.

Recently I've been watching Royalty Auto Service. Sherwood is interesting in that he posts videos on jobs that have come back to bite him ... I just watched one where they were servicing part of a BMW cooling system, and after they fixed one leak, a fountain erupted somewhere else. The Bavarian plastic had become so brittle, a little jostle opened it up.

A channel that's more off the wall is Coldwar Motors. A rural Albertan has surrounded himself with old field cars and slowly takes on their restoration. He took a '61 Plymouth Fury body that had rotted away at the rockers and grafted it onto a 1960 Dodge floor pan, the result looks showroom new. He's doing a similar graft of a 1960 Impala onto a Biscayne chassis. The guy is a master panel beater and painter. He also has an interesting posse of sidekicks. And, he produces his own musical soundtrack.

Ford Tech Makuloco has some really good repair videos for Ford vehicles and very informative ones on the 2.3.

I like him to, saved me a bunch of money on my old 5.4 3v. Like when I had to replace TPS. He said Ford put to much lock tite on the treads and if you didn't heat them up they would snap off in the throttle body.

I have recently started following Legit Street Cars. He was a Merc tech for 10 years before doing the YT thing, seems pretty knowledgeable, kinda annoying they way he talks sometimes, but good info and some cool builds.

Humble Mechanic - Former VW/Audi Mastertech

The others I follow I wouldn't consider Mechanics lol.

Sarah n Tuned - Former Air Force, knowledgeable, smart, very OCD like me lol, cool builds. Another that can be a little annoying though.
Scraplife garage - guy runs a salvage yard and uses his business credentials to acquire auction cars to rebuild.

I also follow a couple home/construction builders ?

Sarah n Tuned is good and gets really detailed which is nice. Her resto project Ranger was a good one. She also has some really good test drive reviews. Being OCD too I can appreciate this too.

The two construction builders I follow are Matt Risinger who does some really nice custom homes in TX.

The other is Corbett Lunsford whose YouTube channel is Home Performance. He does HVAC and has some great videos on all different systems and how to dehumidify and add fresh air.

I'll have to check them out. I follow @PerkinsBuilderBrothers based in NC, down to earth funny guys. for a crew of 5-6 guys, they build some nice stuff like their current build

@StudPack is the other based in Houston. I stumbled on them by accident when searching for something and found their "dream home" build starting with the garage. Following just to see the final finished home

I like Humble Mechanic's buddy Paul from Deutsche Auto Parts. His style is amusing, but my experience with VW/Audi has not been great. So I'm not too interested in his subject matter. He did do a review of spray-in valve cleaner. He didn't convince me.

I really like Ford Boss Me. He is a thinker and I appreciate his common sense approach to analysis on different mechanical issues.

I like Eric on I do cars as well. He makes me think of Adam Sandler for some reason :giggle:
I'm amazed at the lack of oil changes and its such a simple thing to prolong the life of the engine. The amount of destruction on some these engines is ?
