Wow, that’s some beautiful equipment. In many ways I prefer the older methods and tools. My cottage workshop is being constructed around some ‘30s vintage tools that I’ve refurbed (function over aesthsetics).

Super nice work and love Powermatic machines.Until I retired, sold my shop, and then moved into a motorhome, I built tables and turned bowls. My most rewarding work was turning urns for customer's pets. Here's some of the stuff I did.

Beautiful!Made this jewelry box for my wife, all from the scrap bin. Cherry, birds eye maple, walnut, pauduk, and tiger maple for the dividers. I used felt flocking on the inside. After I glued up the top, even pieces on one end and odd lengths at the other, I decided to use that scrap to mortise in the handle.![]()
