Where’s your dog?

I loved the one (same brand) we had for our previous dog, but unfortunately it was too small. This one is good, but I miss the single handle that was 90-degrees and it lacks the D-ring for a leash. I like the one you have, although it looks as though it's for larger dogs.

Alas, my first Frenchie, Pierre was terrified of the ocean, a pity when you consider that I live in Hawaii.

He did enjoy walks on the beach, but dared not venture into the water, as a result I never forced him.

French Bulldogs, because of their body structures are not known for natural buoyancy.

Hopefully his replacement, shown here will take to the water...just need to take it slow with him.

Neither of our dogs above could be considered "water dogs". Neither of these dogs care to be in the water at all. But our Pomeranian loved beaches, boats and jet ski riding.

Twelve years ago, I had a female chocolate lab named CoCo, who "owned" me.

My 3x weekly training and fitness regimen consisted of swimming at least a mile, sometimes more.

CoCo was right beside me in the water, if she grew tired she would follow me on the shoreline, barking out orders to swim faster....lol.

She was an outstanding water dog...

She is a dalmador. Lab Dalmatian mix.
