Meet Cooper
Full Blood Beagle two months old. We drove the Everest to pick him up. My wife and daughter have begged me for 9 years for a pet. Ive owned Dogs in the past and knew the responsibility of having one. I was still very reluctant to get Cooper, but I just jumped on it for some reason. He actually hit the ground running, no shyness towards us at all. When he entered the house, he went into Beagle mode. Its like we always had him, kinda weird really.

Good looking hound dog, the prettiest song is when a beagle is on the trail. The first dog I can remember was a Beagle named Smoky. I believe everybody gets at least one very special pet in their life and Smoky was my Dad's. He hunted rabbits and flushed pheasant and that is what my Dad hunted. Quick story, at a sportsman club event where hunters were showcasing their bird dogs but not having any luck flushing the planted birds so my Dad asked if Smoky could have a go at it. The bird dog guys almost laughed him off the field but Smoky flushed several birds before the bird dog guys had enough and made him quit . Thanks for posting and taking me back 55 years. Hope to see pictures of Cooper as he grows up.

My dad had three Beagles when I was growing up. He used them for Rabbit and deer. The problem was, they wont stop tracking, they will stay at it for hours. They are a stubborn breed anyway, but when trained, they are persistent. They have a special place for me.
