This might be a stupid question. I'm not sure. My new Ranger has the 18" machined alum wheels. I really like the look of the 17" mag painted alum wheels. I picked up 4 of them from ebay. I should be able to buy some 17" tires and just swap wheels on the truck right? Your help is appreciated.

Right. But your speedometer might be off. Check the o.d. of your stock tires vs the o.d. of your new tires. And use this as a ref. for tire pressure: https://tirepressure.com/2019-ford-ranger-tire-pressure

Yep that will work fine. My truck came from the factory with the 18” machined aluminum wheels too but I had the dealer swap them out with a set of 17” base Sport wheels from another truck. If your truck has 265/60R18 tires on it then get some 265/65R17 if you don’t want to go bigger.

factory size on the 17 rims is 255-65-17 is the same as the 18 size
