Same here. My wife drives a '19 Legacy and we've had Subies since 2005. Both of our daughters drive Impreza HBs. We are most definitely a Subaru (and 1 Ranger) family.

I was going to trade in our 2014 Forester when I get the truck, but she has been too great to get rid of her. 8 years and 115k miles of faithful service - she's got a couple hundred left in her, too, lol.

I'm enjoying this thread, thanks for responding, all!

Yah, we love our Subarus. I was heartbroken when my '05 Legacy needed an engine replaced with only 150K on it - loved that car. I ended up with a '16 Outback until I bought my Ranger. If Subaru ever developed a pick-up (even if it's uni-body), I might be in trouble with my better half.

Nice Square body! A kid I work with has one, not as nice though, and he's always busting my balls about driving a cute little Ford Ranger.

Aww Man like that crew cab! Short bed added during resto? (thought those were only long beds back then). Very nice!!

No, they were available as CC short beds, I had one before, but this truck was a long bed regular cab, I cut 33.5" out of the bed and added a crew cab, the frame stayed the same, the bed is 5.5' long, a factory CC short bed was about a foot longer bed, the small door in the bed used to be the spare tire door.

Noticing an interesting trend in this thread. This is our other vehicle, a 230i with Xdrive. AWD is a must have for up here in the frozen north.
I think the 2 series is a great car. Practical but also hella fun to drive.

Mine is a 2005 Focus ST. The less exciting successor to the SVT Focus, though they were produced in similar numbers. It came with a 2.3L Duratec, as opposed to the 2.0 in the regular Foci, and stiffer suspension. It has a cool (louder I guess) exhaust from the factory also.
It’s not really that fast, but it has adequate power for its weight and it handles great.

I feel like it’s a nice complement to my Ranger.
