The adaptive cruise control....already turned it off. It kicks in way too soon for my liking, even set at the "closest" setting.
That is on of the BEST features of the truck I think. I LOVE the adaptive cruise!

Probably the towing package. I wanted it because I think all trucks should have it. Tacomas all have the tow package in the Southeast,

Yeah, I love and USE the adaptive cruise everywhere. Works especially good on those "55MPH" long roads to keep me at 38 as Speed limit is 35. This truck will get away from me real fast sneaking into the 60s. adaptive cruise keeps me within speed limits.

In the super congested traffic of eastern Ma. adaptive cruise control is useless. Doing 70 in a 55 zone, all of a sudden you are down to 25, then up to 55, then down to 10 mph. & so on & so on.

Why are you doing 70 in a 55? As I age, I find the need to drive fast a waste of time and energy.

I got the XLT over the Lariat so I wouldn't have to post in these kinds of threads :whew:.

Just driving with the traffic flow. Last evening in light traffic I was doing 65 in the middle lane (55 zone). The cars in the 2 outside lanes were passing me like I was stopped. Try driving in Eastern Ma. & you will understand what I'm talking about. When I drive in So. Cal. or Manhattan I'm amazed at how polite other drivers are.

Here in the more rural parts of Southern California the Speed limit on the highway is 70mph, and we welcome drivers to do just that, all the way over in the right lane with the 18 wheel trucks and covered wagons  . . . . . EVERYONE goes 80 in the 1-2 lanes, its just understood, an unwritten rule of sorts and NO ONE is getting ticket below 85.

Lazy cops. Here in Germantown, TN, cops will ticket over 5mph. It’s also why we have one of the lowest crime rates in our state.

My vote for most annoying is the location of the emergency flashers. I hit them all the time working the touch screen because I want to rest my thumb right there.

Remote start is probably a godsend in really cold or really hot climates.

Amen to the annoying location of the emergency flasher button. I also accidentally press it at least a couple time a week when trying to find a place to rest a finger or two to accurately press somewhere on the touch screen.

My Remote Start, Lane Keeping Assist, Auto High Beams are disabled via settings as I don't intend to use them
