What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

Not for my Ranger but Margie's Nautilus, we got the correct key for the fob from @LevittownFordParts.com thanks to Benny's providing the correct part number that local Ford/Hyundai dealer could not find and gave up....

Late model F=150 and Ranger both use the same tranny, have same stupid OE dipstick.
Been known and used by other Ranger 5G members for awhile now. I'm kind of OCD about keeping tabs on vehicles so this was a "need".

Cool, I thought so. I did a tranny pan, and just upgraded brakes. I need to fix the mushiness that I dont like, but I'll get back to adding this dipstick. I would like to see how you mount it, assuming you will make it look it is suppose to be there.

Off to look for others who have installed it!

as much as i do not wanna pay the price for one of those i think i will do it with a smile after trying to check the trans fluid level recently. it was less than enjoyable.

Yeah, kinda stuck as their the only company making them.
Retired, so I have plenty of time on my hands..searched every possible aftermarket co. I could think of that makes any type of similar item....no luck.

got a jump starter for the truck in the mail today. seems nifty so far. its one of those gooloo 2000 or something like that. project farm approved lol. Havent tried to start anything yet but i did charge up my laptop and cell phone easily and still shows a full charge.

I need to get me one of those. I have a Dewalt tire inflator which has been great. Now I need a jump starter. The other day I was doing my rounds around harbor freight since I was bored and needed to get out of the house. Picked my wife up an extendable breaker bar and deep well impact socket for her Toyota Highlanders lug nuts. I really got her excited before I gave it to her. You should have seen the joy and happiness it brought her. She kinda just glared at me for a bit but I think that was just because she was so surprised with her awesome gift.

It’s a similar situation with the cargo lamp - another member posted the Ford OEM part and I pointed out it said F150 on the packaging - he checked and it turns out, it’s the same part. Who knew?

I just wish there was a better mounting solution for the handle in the engine compartment.
