i didnt think not having this feature on my truck would bother me much, but i had it on my raptor and it is something you get used to having. im usually scared to try installing things like this, but the install looks simple enough even a simpleton (see what it did there) like myself could pull it off. more of my money going away soon.
It’s very simple. You just have to be careful not to damage the retaining clip while removing the switch. I bought a trim tool kit but couldn’t quite get it out. The clip was likely to bend all the way the wrong direction or pop off entirely. Thanks to the member who shared their instructions I was aware of this. I used a scratch awl to help persuade it out with minimal bending and bent it back into the correct position. Seriously that’s the hardest part. Harness can only plug in one way and everything fits in the hole for the switch. Switch pops back in provided you didn’t biff up the clip.

What does the organization look like on he inside, or is it just a single compartment?I received and installed my swing out bed storage boxes. I really like them and very simple installation. 1/2 hour to install both. Levittown Ford.
