What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Went back up to Goodyear yesterday and met up with a friend and Annie got her haircut. While there we decided to stop at the new Buc-ee’s and boy what a zoo it was inside there. I still can’t figure out what the big attraction is about some stupid beaver on a bunch of cloths but the place was packed. I'm talking so packed that even Annie couldn’t stand it and didn’t even want to shop after 15 minutes of being in there. I think hell froze over.lol It's like a glorified Cracker Barrel lobby.

Yes I’ve heard their brisket, fudge and jerky are great but nothing is worth dealing with the mobs of people screaming and walking every which way bumping into you non stop.

The only nice thing is there are 120 fuel pumps

Of course we stopped at Manuels for Mexican. Chris @Chris M we were going to try Firebirds but you’re right it was very pricey and the reviews were less than stellar for what they charge. Plus we were both in the mood for Chimi's so Manuels won out and it was actually much better than the last 2 times we were there. I asked the waitress about it and she said they have their old cook back which I guess he had left for a while.

Heading back home I noticed it was HOT! We both said "I'm glad we don't live up here anymore".

I even won a little money. On the way home we stopped at the casino so I could get my free birthday gift and free dinner voucher. You pick one of the birthday candles on the kiosk and I had won $10 to my card. I never gamble (or win) so I just went to the first $5.00 slot and played the max and hit for $95.00. Not a killing but $95.00 more than I had walking in there. lol For once I was in the black at the end of the day.

Had to clean up the remains of a Kamikaze Dove today. Went right in to the inner cooler. Used compressed air to clean out the feathers. Was surprised at how many feathers came out. 5sec. mark on video.

Need to look at a grill insert. Won't help the dove but at least you won't have to clean the intercooler. Plus it finishes the front end off a bit.

I specifically made a trip to one, last year, took a couple days off for my birthday and had nothing really going on, and everyone keeps talking about how great that place is, so why not. Brisket sammiches, were supposed to be awesome, but they were meh IMO. But the Beaver Nuggets, OMG!!

I'll try and stop another time when it's less crowded and try the nuggets. We asked the cashier if it was always like this and she said pretty much every day after 9am it's a zoo there.

The good thing is I don't have anything I need or want for my Ranger....Yet lol

The bad thing is if gas keeps going up I'll just be able to fill my tank with it!

Thank you Dave. Mountains2Metal just got an order from me. When I first saw that hole in the lower grille my pessimistic side told me that I would probably fill it with a bird or small animal someday. I like wildlife, so this may help one of those creatures live a little longer, and keep me from replacing an intercooler!
