LOL, I might be 5'6" after first waking up after a non-physical day! =D

Need me some gravity boots to get taller:

All kidding aside, before I finally broke down and had back surgery, I loved my inversion table.

So continuing the thread above with our kayak gear packed, we went out the next day (Friday) to Crystal Lake near Gilmanton, New Hampshire. A small lake with great fishing and super clear water.

We were out for about 3 hours, including lunch, and did a bit over 4 relaxing miles. =)

Same pic as above with our gear bags and kayaks. Those are Sea Eagle razorlites and have been perfect for us old farts. About 35 pounds each at 12'10" and very rigid. The Ice Mule thing is an insulated dry bag that's great for keeping lunch cold.

Unloaded, inflated, and ready to place on a kayak trailer to bring them to the ramp. Cheech is ready too!

What a good looking truck back there! It was nice to have the AVS window deflectors to leave the windows cracked. They do add a tiny bit of road noise, more like it changes the pitch. It's not really louder but a bit more treble and less bass (if that makes sense).

Cheech constantly fidgets - he sits.

He lays down.

He gets bored.

He plays Captain and Commander.

He's ready for lunch and a change in boats.

He's a full and happy camper.

He wants to take a nap.

And he finally got to use his fancy, custom made bed! Here we are on the way in his BloBlo bed (a really unfortunate name for it).

He were are heading home and he's a beat little guy.

And he finally passed out!

The next day was cleaning the kayaks and letting them dry, not a bad day trip. =)

And don't let @AzScorpion see this pic, it's 303 Aerospace Protectant and the tonneau cover took a ton of it! The saturated microfiber went on to do the mirrors, door handles, inside door trim, and grill (we use it on the kayaks too).

I've got a compressed vertebrae in my neck from a motorcycle accident in 1976 and a couple of degenerated disks in the low back. They herniate from time to time and are horrible 9I'm sure you know about real back pain far better than me!). =(

But ... did that inversion table really give you some good relief?

I've thought about them over the years but have hesitated because I know how I am with Bowflexes, treadmills, exercise bikes, and all that stuff. Lots of good intention and not much else.

But it sure does seem like it could feel good. Let me know, I trust you more than most doctors! Especially since you been on the front lines with back pain!

They did work for me. The key is getting yourself to relax. While hanging upside down, tendency is to tense up. Once you get relaxed, you can feel things slipping back in place. I still use mine on occasion just because I like it.

He falls in every trip and often a few times. If he didn't have a life jacket, he'd sink like a rock!

We've tried three different brands, from the most expensive at $90 to one of the cheapest at $23, and the cheapest floats him the best and has the best handle to yank him out.

He seems to be less scared of being in the water now and he doesn't seem to be scared of falling in (judging by how often he does!).

Sat lovingly staring at Soupie during a downpour today. New electrical panel going in and no power, so me and the Cheech are being old men sitting in the dark garage.

But that's a pretty perfect day, in its own way. =)

Took my truck for a ride today to pick up side by side parts. First rain we have had since I got it. Backed out of the garage and as soon as the windshield got wet the wipers started ?. I had no idea it came with rain activated wipers and they work really good. As the rain gets lighter they do intermittent double wipes. I wonder what else it has hidden up its sleeves.
