Some pics from the weekend (people removed, except someone's finger). As you can see beautiful day, not too bad looking road but some really treacherous snow.

Sign says: Other danger - road broken (or impassable / out of use).

Actual meaning is that there's a bridge which is broken, we planned to go and see how badly it's broken. About this location we had to dig out the VW passat and when the wheels hit the ground the hole in the snow was ~80cm and stacking higher than the hood. Looked like 5-10cm.. until you had to dig :)

Dig deep enough and you'll find road (just bottomed out on a soft spot. That +10'C weather really softened the hard layer).

All fine, going back to cabin.. on reverse.

Loaded her up in anger today. Twice. Bought some tile for re-doing the floors. Ended up to be 51 boxes of tile at 71 lb per box. Figured I’ve got a truck, and I’m gonna use it! Did the math, and found out I ordered 3,500 lb of tile. Oops.
So I made two trips! Here she is loaded to the gills! This is the heavier load. 26 boxes. A little bit overloaded. I figured about 1800 lb. I was looking over the side into the bed when the fork lift lowered the pallet, and it seems like it dropped about 10 inches, but that might be an exaggeration. I really didn’t take time to measure it.
Anyway, here she is, loaded for bear.

Oh, and I just rolled over 5,000 miles this week. I don’t get out much

Looking at the picture it's still within the load capacity.

When loading it's normal that the leaf springs give out 5 inches. Looks horrible on first time, but really it's normal.

I figured the whole pallet would be too much @ 3600 lb…

Another sad day for the Ranger in an overall messed up week.

Lost another best friend today after messing up my knee skiing.

RIP Cricket

When we first rescued her in 2012, until today.?
