We will be towing this bad boy. 3500lbs plus another 300lbs ish of gear. It’s the main reason I bought the Ranger. Just got the brake controller put in today. Now we just need the snow to melt.
Installed a new ADARAC. Really easy install and the system is very adjustable. Currently have it set up so I can open one flap of the tonneau. Very pleased with this product so far.
I have had my ranger now for a few months. Overall I really like it. I do have a few items that I miss from previous vehicles however. These are things that I think Ford could do without much difficulty and would allow then to stand apart from the competition.
My short list is
Interior
-Heated...
I have a Lariat and must say it is very nice. This is my first ranger. I came over from a Honda Pilot Touring. So as far as the interior is concerned Ford is way behind.
I don’t mind the dual cluster, in fact I like it. I looked at the XLT but the interior amenities were the deal breaker...
Hey there everyone.
I am wondering who out there has a levelling kit installed and also tows a travel trailer.
I have a 3500lb travel trailer that I will be towing and I’m considering getting a levelling kit put in this spring.
I’m specifically curious about safety, performance and ride...
The parts guy actually laughed when he saw the total cost of everything. Not sure why they want to loose money to cheaper after market options. I also agree on the bad business practice statement .
Looking for 2. Can anybody point me in the right direction to get a pair for less that CA $ 160 ( brackets are $60 ea, bolts are $10 ea) as quoted from on of my local ford dealer.
Thanks in advance
Mike
