Headed to Townsend on Thursday for some hiking!Drove to the nearest GSMNP trailhead and parked the Ranger. Hiked up a couple miles then got in the water to chase some native Southern Appalachian Brook Trout. Great way to spend Sunday afternoon!
Dang , would have liked to have met ya for a hike or coffee. Headed up to Savage River to fly fish/turkey hunt with a buddy this week.
That's a bummer. Hopefully I'll be back down there in the fall.
Look how shiny dad's truck is.I'm on vacation this week. I went to meet Dad at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, then I got a call from him telling me that the original battery in his F150 was dead, it lasted for 8 years. So we went to Cracker Barrel in my Ranger, then to the Bob Utter Ford Service Department so Dad could get a new battery and I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday to have the cracked windshield replaced in my truck.
Dad in the background cleaning the battery tray before putting the new one in.
Happy and Safe Travels Drivers!
Yeah, mine needs a bath. There is rain in the forecast, so it may or may not get one this week, wait and see what the weather decides to do.Look how shiny dad's truck is.
How many pictures of my truck in the Brookshires parking can I take? Let me count the ways lol.
Had to stop and do a little grocery shopping on the way home.
I do the same with mountain biking! I need to go through my camera roll and eliminate the probably 100 pictures of my bike at the same trailheads or scenic views! But they're just all so pretty!!
I see your pictures are still as beautiful as ever!Drove to the nearest GSMNP trailhead and parked the Ranger. Hiked up a couple miles then got in the water to chase some native Southern Appalachian Brook Trout. Great way to spend Sunday afternoon!

), a gentleman filling up next to us kept complimenting our Ranger’s color. Still getting comments after all this time. He had a white Ranger Lariat & absolutely loves it!
