I actually took the mud flaps off. They rubbed and I couldn’t have both mud flaps and the Brushwacker fender flares. So since I’m going for a Raptor look the Flares won out. I have a slight rub on the well liner on the driver side rear. Everything else is perfect.I think I speak for all other drivers on the road when I say: “thank you for installing mud flaps’. Are you having any rub issues?
Bushwacker OEM. The rubber trim is the worst part of the install. But worth the look and functionality. What flares do you have and how was the install?
Any worry of paint damage underneath from friction/rubbing against the rubber gasket? That's my only concern I suppose.Bushwacker OEM. The rubber trim is the worst part of the install. But worth the look and functionality.
None at all unless little debris gets in there but it’s pretty snug.Any worry of paint damage underneath from friction/rubbing against the rubber gasket? That's my only concern I suppose.
I had nerf on my F150, loved them. are those rock sliders or just nerf bars? do thye bolt to the frame or the body?
Picked up some tremor nerf bars from a local bro. Bolts right up! ?
They will rub the paint when I took mine off you could tell they were there. Had to polish and buff the paint to hide it before trade in. Had Bushwhacker Extend a Flares.Any worry of paint damage underneath from friction/rubbing against the rubber gasket? That's my only concern I suppose.
bolts to frame, they do offer some protection as the mounting brackets are metal. Not quite as beefy as shockworks sliders but they'll do the trick for $200 ;PI had nerf on my F150, loved them. are those rock sliders or just nerf bars? do thye bolt to the frame or the body?
I'm not a fan of white letters 95% of time, but it works well for your setup. Looks good! After following this site for over 2 years and owning my Ranger for a years and a half Im finally posting her for all to see…
Copy that Phil. You have about double of my 2 garages put together (24x24 is one Ranger and Fusion and the other for my 68 Mustang is 12x28).HI Brian,
I have 3600 sq ft under roof. 1800 living and 1800 garage.... Garage space is too small.....
They look great on your truck.New Wheels came. A little bit too aggressive for me but overall love the look. I was on the magnetic 17x8 wheels with a 1.25" spacer and 285-70-17's, and these are RRW RR7-H 17x8.5" 0 offset.
I knew ahead of time using an online calculator it was going to poke a little bit more.
Tiny amount of rub only on the driver's side when in reverse at full lock. Rubbing the fender liner. Crash bars are already removed.
My ideal offset would have been 20 but they only make this wheel in our bolt pattern in a 0 or -12 offset.
Very sharp truck!New RC flares are on!
Yeah I agree white letters is a love it or hate it scenario but it does add some depth with my Grey/Black motif.I'm not a fan of white letters 95% of time, but it works well for your setup. Looks good!
