New tires! P265/65R17 Yokohama Geolandar AT G015. One of the mildest AT tires out there. Slightly larger than the OEM P255/65R17 Bridgestone Dueler H/T 685 that came on it. Less road noise than the worn Bridgestones (for now anyways). On closeout price of $174 at TireRack that local Discount Tire matched. I was looking at other tires, but couldn't pass up with that price. I run these in an E load rated LT295/70R18 on my F250 Superduty work truck and they have been great. Hopefully the lighter tire on the Ranger will do just as well.

Oddly, I thought I was going to have to go in with Forscan to update my tire size, but to my surprise, my speedometer is now reading almost perfect when checked with three different GPS/speed apps. I never checked the OEM tires. Either the speedometer was off with them, or these are closer to the same diameter than size would suggest, though they look slightly larger in diameter. Anyone with the smaller OEM size ever find their speedometer to be reading higher than
It should?

I did a couple things to my Ranger today to improve its look and function. Thought I would share

This morning I had all the windows tinted. I had them add 5% tint to all the back windows to black it out and put 75% tint (ceramic to block UV) in the two front windows. I think it looks perfect. Oh, I also de badged the vinyl 4x4 sticker from the bed. Those things look so cheep to me.

Then after I got my truck back home, I installed my Bakflip MK4 bed cover.

Spare tire carrier installed with my plate relocation. I am really happy with how this whole project turned out.
Cool set up! Is your plate mounted to the bottom of the tailgate and then it swings down with it? Do you just go without your back up camera now or did you relocate it?
