Never knew! I guess it would be nice but the temperature is in the dash as well as the touch screen and I keep an eye on those when traveling over wet roads in the winter so I don't get surprised by black ice. I assume the alert comes on when the temperature drops to freezing?
It comes on at 5ºC which is 41ºF. Rather warm unless you're heading up into the mountains or straight into a storm. Like when has that ever happened... this week?
It could give you a 'heads up' sort of warning.

41 is balmy for us!!😂 33-35 degrees would be more helpful for road conditions. That part isn't adjustable is it??

Balmy?

I'd about freeze to death! 🥶

Being retired I thought I could handle the cold again but I guess I'm a wimp and got use to the warn dry desert. Last winter was tough when we lived in AR and it was below zero a few times. I just can't get that chill out of me and Annie, well she's cold with anything under 100*...Yes, I'm dead serious. She'll walk up to me and grab my arm and it's like a block of ice touching you. I have to feel her arm for a pulse to make sure she's really alive. 😂

I was a PE teacher so we could wear shorts, track pants, etc. The men in the department pretty much wore shorts part way through November and before spring break got here we were in them again!😂 With a light jacket it just isn't that bad unless the wind kicks up. I do the same thing when I go to PT. I need to move when I'm there and pants just don't cut it. Light jacket and off I go! I do use the seat warmer, though!😁 Loosens me up! This winter has been horrible so far. Very little snow and warm enough to just mostly rain. We're worried about a bad fire season this summer and low water flows in the rivers. We need some normal winter weather and temps for our snow pack. I don't mind snow and ice. We have 4WDs and I even have a set of studded tires for my fatbike! Riding in the snow is a blast although I won't trade that for the singletrack trails in the spring, summer and fall on my full suspension bike.

I just noticed, no one answered the question.
Nope. It's not adjustable. Yet?. If it was I'd lower it a few Fº. 41 seems high.

And since I'm typing here again, it's certainly not necessary, but since I paid for it, I want to see it! :sunglasses:

Agree it should be much closer to freezing.
