How do you like the mount? I have yet to install mine.
It's sturdy. Most solid mount I've ever had. I've probably gone thru 4 or 5 cheap mounts and they all suck. This one doesn't suck. The install is really easy. Took me 30 minutes and I wasn't rushing.

Not my Ranger... but I helped a co-worker out by installing her T-style radio in her 2017 Dodge Ram 1500. It was easy compared to my Linkswell. It also sucks compared to my Linkswell. Never buy off-brands from Amazon. But it "works" and it looks good.

I feel your pain... I'm a victim here too.

I could have lived out the rest of my life happily not knowing this device existed.

Then a doctor came over to my house to show off his new Bronco Raptor. It had a 6"suspension lift, new intake, new exhaust, new tires & wheels, a tune, a hidden winch in a heavy duty stealth bumper covered in lights, and a Bulletpoint Mouting System.

His Bronco had 107 miles on it when he rolled up.
🤦‍♂️💰💰💰💰💰💰

I thought it looked "like a nice bolt on convenience" that I didn't need to waste money on. A few months later, my phone fell out of it's holder when I was climbing a steep hill. It bounced off my arm and landed in the passenger seat. Same off-roading trip (10 minutes later) and it flew out again going into a steep off camber. That one landed under my feet.

That's what convinced me to look for something "better".

I did my homework and the Bulletpoint was the best bang for the buck with the highest quality materials and EVERYTHING you need to make the install easy....
🚫🧠'r

It's stout ! My phone is secure AF !!!

Changed the oil, front differential oil and spark plugs. The spark plugs looked fine and #4 had no rust! I was extremely nervous about #4 being a pain to get out. Especially at 103,000 miles and it rains here a decent amount. 1 is at the top and 4 at the bottom.

I couldn't let a beautiful 75 degree day go to waste so I detailed my truck with more Graphene detailer. It'll last a good 90 days but I like doing it every 5-6 weeks for the added protection. The sun and UV rays are brutal here most of the year so it really helps the paint stay conditioned and keeps those black strips on the roof from peeling.

Loaned it to my sister and got it back like this:

Taillight will have to be replaced and a superficial look (it's dark and cold right now!) shows some damage to the bumper, so that might need some work, too.

Reason 572 why I never loan my truck. I always go with it! Hope it's all covered.

Bummer. If that’s her handiwork and not someone else’s, I imagine you’re doing the fix yourself . Let me know and I’ll warm up the garage. Aftermarket assemblies are pretty darn cheap these days, if you’re interested in going that route.

Sorry about your hit...

Only 1 person on this earth is allowed to drive my truck,,, Ryan the mechanic at my local Ford dealership. Ryan and I had a nice talk and he understands what would happen if a mechanic were to take my truck for a joy ride. I have GPS trackers in that truck. I can watch it moving from my phone and I get a text if goes anywhere without me in it. If it were to get in an accident,,, 2 devices will record (locked) video of the impact. Spend about $3k on all that stuff JUST because I cant trust dealership mechanics to behave. I've had dealership mechanics ruin a '92 Bronco, ruin a '98 Dodge Ram, and ruin a '06 Roush Mustang. $3k for cameras and GPS trackers is cheap compared to what I paid to fix each of those vehicles.

There's nothing wrong with being selfish about your truck...
