Are freezing lines a common occurrence in Finland?
I can only recall once where I had fuel gel up on me during driving(delivery driver).

2008ish, Temperatures were around -36°C in Northern Minnesota, never froze but I could tell the gasoline wasn't quite a liquid anymore. My little truck was not happy about it.
? ...A friend who used to live in Minnesota said he was out in the woods during the winter and the temp. was so low that a tree exploded nearby!

Not hard to believe, any moisture inside froze and the wood fibers couldn't handle it.

Never seen trees explode but I've definitely seen what damage severe winter temperatures can do.

This was a week ago, but @Goyo86 helped (did it) me bleed the brakes. I didn’t want to post until I had some time to drive it but I’m 100% sure the pedal is way better now. There was air in the RR line. The truck always stopped before bite the pedal felt iffy sometimes and would take a second press to firm up. It’s consistent now. This isn’t a miracle, as I still think the pedal could be more firm, but it’s a lot better than it was.

Took advantage of a 70 day here and gave it a bath. I bought a new gas pressure washer and wanted to try it out so I killed two birds with one stone. My electric washer just didn't put out enough pressure (most electric ones don't) to make the foam cannon run as it should. This one works so much better and really foams it up good and it was on sale at Costco and came with a couple free extras. What's nice is it has a pressure adjustment knob so you can dial it down from 3,400 psi to a garden hose spray if needed.

The factory FX4 skid plate would not fit with the Relentless bumper. I took a die grinder to the front and painted it to match the bumper.

Trees are fine when feezing and can survive months of -50'C.

The "explosion" comes into play when temperature changes significantly in small amount of time. Reason for this is that wood is poor heat conductor. When there's a rapid temperature change the outer side of the tree will lose/gain temperature and will shrink/expand quicker than the inner core. This causes the tree to crack open, in some cases it may shed part of the outer side and/or fall down.

So just a compression stress, not an explosion.

In Finland we have name for that weather "paukkupakkanen" (bang freeze) which got it's name from trees creaking in the forest due to this.

Definitely a better explanation than "trees go boom "

I never bothered to really look into it, but I do know not many things handle rapid temperature changes all that well.

Thanks for the interesting explanation of why trees do this because of temperature change... :)

Yes, that's the company and they have a US warehouse in MN. I bought it at Costco on sale ($349.99) and the reviews there were not that great because most were damaged in shipping. It took 3 times for me to get a good one (UPS has been horrible lately with their shipping ) that wasn't either dented or flipped upside down with the gas cap ripped off. ?‍♂ That's why I love dealing with Costco because they'll just keep shipping you one until you're happy.

Happy spending!! ?? ?

LOL, my friend says it's a nice looking unit and would work far better on cleaning my their house and sidewalks than the two electric ones I have that they borrow. =D
