Finally found where I could use left over rocker panel plugs... might order more to finish it up.

Useless? Yes.
But does somehow make the engine bay/hood even more complete..

Good plan. At least you now know where your spare plugs are. If you are like me after about 2 weeks you will never find them in your garage ?

What do these do? Not being rude just confused
Usually, to help keep the hood from hitting fenders but on the ranger it's less likely due to the design of the hood.

They were on the list of cost cutting items from ford, and I just wanted a more complete looking truck.

I have no problem finding things I stored away from days to even months ago, but the socket or tool I placed behind me on my bench just a second ago? F'ing gone.

What I did today to Pepper, I applied 303 Nano coating. This was done over Torque Detail spray on polish. The weather was perfect today by Florida standards anyhow. Low humidity & slight breeze from the northeast.

Also, last month I paid Pepper off, 3 months shy of 3 years ownership. (On a 7 year finance deal.)

? I am considering buying a cloth upholstery set from one of the members here. I know, more weirdness, but I like cloth upholstery especially now that I live in SC. If I do the conversion I will likely mess with the angle. Fortunately I have power tilt on my truck so the angle is not as bad as in some of my previous trucks e.g. my 2022 Maverick which was one of the reasons I traded it for the Ranger. I could never make the seat comfortable even after lifting the rear of the seat bracket and I hated the "Active X" seating material. My Ranger is OK but if I have to take them out anyway I might fiddle a bit.
I've got Wet Okole seat covers on ours. After a summer of use, they're pretty comfortable. I worried that they would feel hot, but they weren't. I like being cool and, in Kate's car I use the heck out of the air conditioned seats.

Good luck in dialing in your Ranger to exactly what you want. And bring us all along the ride with pics and details.

So much for a clean look, but oh well.. beats having to hold phone up or dangle from the vents.

I installed a ¾” level kit today. I got a Zone 2” level kit $60 (made by BDS). It is a 2-piece kit with a 3/8” above the strut spacer and a spring compression spacer.

2" Leveling Kit | 2019-2021 Ford Ranger 4WD – Zone Offroad

It took about 2 hours (the frustrating part was getting the upper control arm and sway bar link tight enough to torque without the shaft spinning as I did not have a metric hex for the sway bar link). I actually like this spacer better because it has a provision for the locator pin. I know it shouldn’t but I think it rides different a bit firmer (different weight distribution maybe?) it’s probably just my perception.

The 3/8” spacer gave me an exact ¾” lift.

I have been on the fence with a leveling kit since I bought the truck as I felt it sits right and rides right and I swore I would leave this truck the hell alone but the devil made me do it… I am not sure if I will keep it, try a ½” from Ebay or remove it yet before I go to the expense of alignment.

Yeah I am that flakey and have commitment issues LOL

Ohh and I washed her today, I got it back from the windshield recall work and the Dealer had washed it but they put that black shit on the tires that flings everywhere (in the wheel wells and down the side of the truck) what a mess…

LB

Edit; ok I just went out to the garage to look at it, I think I will keep it :D
