What did you do to your Ranger today?

This was really helpful when I installed mine...

After watching this video I was able to install it in 5 minutes, then another 10 of adjusting and readjusting the hood latch. I used a towel like he did and a piece of chalk to mark with.

I 100% had to adjust my hood latch. It wouldn't close at the factory setting.

I also measured the panel gaps of my hood to the front of the fender to make adjustments.

To clarify the white dots go on the back of the plastic bug deflector, not on the hood itself. He installed them incorrectly.

I took off the Logo for a cleaner look.

Picked up a jack from Harbor Freight since my older one cannot reach the frame of the Ranger. Made doing a tire rotation much, much easier.

factory one split in less than 5 months

Only time will tell but since it is a nice grade of genuine leather, I think it will last a good long time.

My truck was on its 3rd factory boot.

After the last replacement I saw that it was the same old garbage and was going to fail in the same old way so I ordered the Redline boot.

It is light years better than the factory boot.

Full detail with strip wash and finally got to wax it after clay bar treatment on some rougher areas. Had the truck since Dec and been waiting on crappy weather here to to break so I could get it protected. Also did the interior.

Wired up some Vivid Lumen ditch lights. Stoked to test these bad boys. A little more of a lime yellow than the DD fogs, but gonna look sweet @ night!

Then after I got my truck back home, I installed my Bakflip MK4 bed cover.

What you really need to do is see what you are getting into. Attached below are the instructions. Look through it and see if it's worth putting on.

It uses an adhesive to keep it in place. Adhesives don't come off easy if you change your mind and decide to remove it.

Otherwise, it's a great product if you want to change the appearance of your truck.

I have the part from Ford, I just have to wait until the weather is good to do the install. today would have been good, but had another project to do first, then it got pretty humid (thunderstorms) so I put it off for a while.

so abbs and I decided to find some back roads and dirt. ended up doing a little three wheel. didnt know it till i stepped out to pee, it was urgent. it turned out to be much more uneven and steep than it appeared when pulling off. as my luck would have it, miles from a town on a back road as soon as im mid stream beside the truck near the trees a surge of traffic like the road had never seen happens...

I’ll get one the rough country are really bright

sorry it took so long as you can see the rough country are a lot brighter they work well if you have trouble seeing at night or fog
