Please pardon my ignorance, but what does one do with that much front bumper on a Ranger?
That's a pretty big bumper!

I did Forscan mods.
- Brake Calibration - worth the cost of the cable. What a difference.
- Bambi mode - I will let you know tonight if its noticeable
- Disabled Fake engine noise - cant really notice a difference
- Disabled double honk
- Enabled anti-noise - dont think that actually works in our rangers
- Enabled climate controls on lariat dash - works but cant make changes... so I turned it back off.
I tried doing Bambi Mode tonight. When it got to the end of trying to write it it stopped and wouldn't complete the writing and gave an error. Anybody else had this experience?

Yes, happened to me on one of my writes... yet it still wrote.

disconnect, restart the app. scan again and see if it actually wrote the change. If not, do it again. Its all good. Also, dont be surprised if your dash clock doesnt show time after a write. Just go into settings on the center stack and change anything in the time settings and the dash will update.

It bleeds it as, many believe, it was not done before leaving the factory. Are your brakes squishy?? If so, do the operation.

With my ranger, and my wife's ranger, the difference was so noticeable that I about put myself through the windshield the brakes were so much more sensitive.

The before is this: the amount of travel on the brake pedal is, in my opinion, extreme. Same with my wife's (we both have '21's). Further, it always felt like you really had to get on the brakes in order to ...brake.

After the operation, the brake pedal has very little travel and the brakes are so much more responsive.

There is a thread here somewhere about it.
So this is a ABS ECU update? I've seen the video where there's nothing bled, just updated the ECU as if it were bled is this is the procedure you refer to. I've seen a review or two that says it worked, but other have reported that it did nothing. What about an actual brake bleed. Does this help? I'd scheduled to take mine to the dealer on Friday.

I have only had my truck for just over 30 days, I had it at 2 separate dealers, they just did initial inspection (got in a pressed brake pedal) and said it's normal, I did it myself ABS Module bleed and all 4 Calipers, got a brake line full of air out of R/Rear. Brake Pedal feel much better now, firmer and better than prior bleed but not perfect in my opinion.

Just an FYI - You may get - It's normal from dealer, as they have to CONFIRM issue before they WILL do anything to it under Warranty, as in my case anyways. Well, the only way to CONFIRM is to do the bleed and see if any air is in the system
I will admit that the Ranger's brake pedal has a different feel than my previous car, and this is what generates it's normal from dealers, they are all like this, but however it's the slight difference in the feel between (Normal for the Ranger) and (Mushy-Air in the System) cannot be felt and noticed until you drive it for a while, sit at a stop light and your foot on brake and you feel pedal dropping under your foot, the bleed fixes this issue , it only takes a small amount of air in the system to generate this brake pedal feel.

Yep, my experience as well. I had an apt with the dealer in the morning and hope I can convince them to do a brake bleed. Fingers cross. The 12 inches of air that I have before the brakes begin to work is dangerous.
