Folks gotta be following two threads to figure that one out. ?

Growing up, we called it “dinner“, on the west coast, the same. When I lived in New Brunswick, where the people are as nice as rice and as humble as pie, they called it ”supper”.

I think I prefer “supper”. :)

Made some comfort food this week. Pastrami reubens made with homemade rye bread from fresh ground grains, good jewish pastrami, our homemade sauerkraut, horseradish mustard, topped with aged swiss, and one of our crock pickles on the side

So, my oven was on the fritz and last night was the first real test to see if I was able to fix it. My efforts seem to have paid off so tonight, it was time to see how my homemade pizzas would turn out…

They were delicious!

Appliance repairs can cost almost as much as a new appliance - the service rates aren’t so bad but the parts are crazy expensive. Almost as bad as out of warranty Ranger repairs.

So, Duke takes matters into his own hands…

Step 1: Remove the faulty, ridiculously priced $600 control board - btw, it’s always the control board. But it really isn’t - read on.

Step 2: Test and isolate the faulty relay(s) on the control board

Step 3: Remove and replace the two $4 relays that are causing the problem.

Step 4: Enjoy your homemade pizza

Mrs. DukeCanBuildit bought me this fancy schmancy meat thermometer, so I’ll give you one guess. ?
