Naw you need a crummie, that’s old school terminology for a heavy duty crew cab with an 8 foot bed. Dodge was famous for them with the original hemi. Been there done that, the toughest work for anyone, period!! Try being a green hand running up and down mountains, pulling and setting chockers for the yarders hoping one doesn’t slip, if it did you get your ass kicked big time. I’ve had many corkers and shredded pants. I finally drove skidders another story and set of problems..Nice - just what you need in logging country.
Sounds a lot like my summer job in Alberta’s oil patch when I was in college.Naw you need a crummie, that’s old school terminology for a heavy duty crew cab with an 8 foot bed. .....we don't work the logging side (although I have....was a faller and worked on towers) I now work on the other side...we develope the logging blocks and roads for the mills!Naw you need a crummie, that’s old school terminology for a heavy duty crew cab with an 8 foot bed. Way cool, the towers is what we referred to as “yarders” ? Driving the skidders I would curse the fallers.. I do however understand the reasoning of fallers but still, dang it!! ? I just wish those roads were wider in my time circa 1990.......we don't work the logging side (although I have....was a faller and worked on towers) I now work on the other side...we develope the logging blocks and roads for the mills!
