Well, joining the club here, not one we want to be in... '21 Tremor, about 15k on my truck, no issues at all up until this point. brought it into dealer for standard oil change, tire rotation, etc. get my truck back and it's got a constant vibration (more prevalent at highway speeds but still there at low speeds). bring it back in for tire balancing, does that do the trick? nope. real pain in the ass, I feel it in my seat, steering wheel, entire truck pretty much; can visually see my briefcase I put on the passenger seat vibrating/rattling too. not so bad that I can't tolerate it but it's definitely annoying and something I want taken care of asap.

I've seen people talk about the NVH app, is it really worth the $100? With it being under warranty and having a maintenance plan I've been using the dealer for convenience but honestly don't have much confidence in them. Anything I can do myself to try to figure this out? I've got experience working on and rebuilding engines, not much else but not afraid to try. standard tools in the garage no lifts or specialized tools though. Maybe I'll give the dealer another shot, see if they have NVH equipment there to use and try to figure it out.

Considering it only started after a tire rotation, maybe it's a tire issue like @BYMranger2019 above, needing to be checked for roadforce balance and the problem tire(s) moving to the front caused it to be noticeable now? Could a dealer check for that or would I need to go to a legit tire place?

DT put the weights in one spot and didn’t clean the residue from the previous balance off the rims so the new sticky weights didn’t stay on and flew off.
I RECOMMEND that the dealership put the weights on both sides of the rims, on the inside and outside so they don’t wobble right to left and make sure the rims are clear of residue if using sticky weights.
10-4 on both sides of the rims. I do my own balancing on my motorcycle tires with adhesive weights and side to side wobble can be noticeable if the weighs are on one side, depending on tread design and tire pressure, at least on the front. Clean the rim thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol before attaching the weights; stuck on a dirty rim they could pop off on the first pothole. I follow up with duct tape (black to match the rims) over them, mostly for cosmetics, but for a little extra insurance, as the weights don't make full contact on my narrow MC rims.

I highly recommend to get your tires road force balanced by the dealership and get the dealer to give you the road force numbers, if they aren’t to your vehicles specs you have a right to get tires that meet specs. You have a tire warranty and the information should be in with your paperwork when you bought your truck or go online to ford.com to search for warranty information. My personal opinion is that tires that don’t meet your truck’s requirements are defective and shouldn’t have been put on your truck as stock that way. My situation started the same way, all was fine until I had a balance and rotation, I even went through 3 sets and 2 different brands of tires and no resolution. It took a mom and pop shop who had more knowledge on where to place the weights to get them to reduce the shaking. You deserve to have a peaceful ride. DT put the weights in one spot and didn’t clean the residue from the previous balance off the rims so the new sticky weights didn’t stay on and flew off.
My tires were out of balance when I took it to Pruskis so they have been that way since my last rebalance from DT. I RECOMMEND that the dealership put the weights on both sides of the rims, on the inside and outside so they don’t wobble right to left and make sure the rims are clear of residue if using sticky weights. I’ll take a photo and attach it so you can see what I’m trying to explain.
thanks; where do I get the specs for road force tires. I think my tremor tires will be different than the specs posted earlier in the thread for yours

RoadForce numbers are a measurement determined by their balancing machine. Tire type/size have nothing to do with it. I think as a rule they like to see 20 pounds or less. With that being said I had one at 16 pounds and still had a noticeable vibration so Ford replaced it under warranty. Mine were stock Tremor tires ( General Grabber ATX 265/70R17). There’s lots of info on road force balancing if you Google it.

I asked Pruskis what the road force number should be for my truck and he said it should be less than 15, I believe it has to do with how heavy your vehicle is but I’m not certain. I trusted Pruskis but the Ford service guy said it is probably around 20 or less for my truck, good question.

Thanks friends. Wound up checking my lug nuts just now and they were all at 80 (manual says 100). Torqued them all up to 100 and will go out and test later, hopefully that was the issue and solves it but if not I'll have a call into the dealer tomorrow for road force and/or NVH. Not fun dealing with stuff like this on a brand new vehicle but hey that's what life is all about, huh? Certainly could be worse

Ford service said that they aren’t making tires as well as they used to and this is causing vibration issues more often due to this, you would think that buying stock is different than aftermarket since it’s direct from the dealer but I’m hoping you get someone who gets you a resolution instead of a runaround. I can’t wait to see what happen.

Buying stock? Ford doesn't make tires. My guess is that Ford contracts tires to the lowest bidder since they buy so much. And we all know what you get from the lowest bidder.

I’ve noticed vibrations yesterday when I pulled my trailer, 5x8 with a lawn tractor on it. The vibration feels driveline related to me figuring the drive angle was a bit off.

I also had vibrations early on but a tune helped and more miles improved it. Another thing that was odd would be noticing the vibs would be better after driving on rough terrain or even speed bumps.
Getting the stock tires off and mounting Michelin’s 265/70/18’s also helped.

Sorry, I meant that it was included on the dealer window sticker and not added on after purchase.

Discount Tire definitely stands by their motto “Let’s Get You Taken Care Of”, it took a while due to a shortage of my replacement tires but they definitely stood by me and got me taken care of! D.T. called me yesterday to say that my replacement rims and tires from Tire Rack were in and to come by for installation, it took all of 15 minutes, the rims, tires, sensors, hub rings and weights all ready to go with tires road force tested at an 8!!! D.T. and Tire Rack are teamed up so the manager was able to orchestrate and coordinate the replacement for me, well done Mike Carnes at the Goliad Rd store in San Antonio!! They reimbursed me for out of pocket costs for the rebalancing too. I highly recommend that you do the same.

Dealership said they don’t have the equipment to do road force on my aftermarket rims, you need to ask them about yours since you have a warranty and they came with the truck when you bought it??
