Dealership said they don’t have the equipment to do road force on my aftermarket rims, you need to ask them about yours since you have a warranty and they came with the truck when you bought it??
  2. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

Discount Tire definitely stands by their motto “Let’s Get You Taken Care Of”, it took a while due to a shortage of my replacement tires but they definitely stood by me and got me taken care of! D.T. called me yesterday to say that my replacement rims and tires from Tire Rack were in and to come...
  3. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

Ford dealer did inspection, looks like it is only the tires being the cause.
  4. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

Sorry, I meant that it was included on the dealer window sticker and not added on after purchase.
  5. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

Ford service said that they aren’t making tires as well as they used to and this is causing vibration issues more often due to this, you would think that buying stock is different than aftermarket since it’s direct from the dealer but I’m hoping you get someone who gets you a resolution instead...
  6. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

I asked Pruskis what the road force number should be for my truck and he said it should be less than 15, I believe it has to do with how heavy your vehicle is but I’m not certain. I trusted Pruskis but the Ford service guy said it is probably around 20 or less for my truck, good question.
  7. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

I highly recommend to get your tires road force balanced by the dealership and get the dealer to give you the road force numbers, if they aren’t to your vehicles specs you have a right to get tires that meet specs. You have a tire warranty and the information should be in with your paperwork...
  8. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

Thank you for that information, it’s helpful to know how you were able to get your issue resolved and that my resolution should include a request for the replacement of those wonky tires! I’m sure Discount Tire will accommodate. God bless you for sharing your experience, it is greatly...

Vibration cause found!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took my truck to Pruski’s in Floresville to get my wheels/tires road force balanced and the vibration is now very minimal!!!! It looks like the tires are misshaped and unbalanced to begin with, they balanced both sides of my rims from putting weights on the...
  10. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

I was told by the Reafylift installer that there is nothing wrong with the installation or damage to anything that they touched during the installation. They did say that the wheels/tires are grossly out of balance and that the weights might have come off due to leftover residue such as glue...
  11. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

I believed you are on the right track, I notice a “rubbing” sound when taking a short turn when in reverse, I had the crash-bars removed on the rear and the fronts cut down so they shouldn’t rub…I’m goin to see if they are rubbing on something like the mud-flaps OR maybe the sound is the CV...

Also, would this damage to the rotor cause the intermittent shaking?
  13. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

I found deep scratches on the inside back part of the wheel that is mounted on the same hub.
  14. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

I’ll check my wheels to see if there is a matching mark, does the wheel have to be removed from the vehicle first or can I see it by crawling underneath with a flashlight?
  15. Viiiiiibratiiiiiion again!!

I My steering wheel and truck started having the same issue after getting a rebalance, I’ve tried Extra Thread lug nuts, realignments, different sets of tires, reducing psi in my tires and finally hub rings for my aftermarket rims. The biggest success was with the installation of the hub rings...
  16. 2019 Ford Ranger Fx4 keep stock rims and get bigger tires?

This shows some aluminum stuck to threads
  17. 2019 Ford Ranger Fx4 keep stock rims and get bigger tires?

Got my alignment done, still the truck is shaking. I drove to work and the shaking was tolerated but when I left work the shaking was worse! I parked in the parking lot to lower my tire psi to 35 and noticed this (see pic) stuck in my driver side rear wheel; a long aluminum crock screw shaving...
