I recently lowered my Ford Ranger with the hope of getting better performance on the road. Now I have the usual rear end vibration that I just can't get rid of. I was wondering if anyone knows the correct angle for the drive shaft on this darn thing. Seems like I have to use leave shims to correct the issue. Thanks in advance any info will be helpful.

Probably have to tilt the pinion angle forward. There is a chance you need a new or shortened driveshaft as well. That's a pretty steep drop. A drive line shop should be able to let you know just by looking at it.

Thanks for the response.

Buddy of mine had the same vibration issue, taking off from a stop. He has a '20 F150 and had a Belltech lowering kit installed. He contacted them and ordered a shim kit for the rear leaf springs, different sizes. Through trial and error a shop eliminated the vibration.
Whatever kit you have installed, I would suggest contacting that manufacturer, tell them you're having issues. Good luck!

The Belltech kit comes with hardware to realign the carrier bearing and eliminate any vibration due to misalignment. In the nine months I have been driving my truck lowered with Belltech, I haven't had a single vibration problem. What kit did you use to lower your truck?
