My experience with my 2021 FX4....
Bought new off a dealer lot...within
first 500 miles I had replaced coilovers, rear shocks and tires (kept Ford BAP rims)
2.5" front lift . Had some highway vibration
that I attributed to the more aggressive off-road tires....6 months later I did the ICON LeafSprings , and upgraded the coilovers and shocks to 2.5 adjustable valve...now was at 3.0" front lift, 1.0" rear.
Vibration was now more prevalent ... With
several different tries at shimming Diff and Carrier bearing angles I was able to lessen , but not eliminate the vibration...
When my Carrier bearing started to fail at 8,400 miles, I replaced it with the Woods One-piece...I also shimmed the pinion angle down 5.0° to get Output and Pinion flange angles to 0.4° of parallel to each other ( pinion angle axle wrap room ).....
Totally eliminated the highway speed vibrations...?....

That is great info. I was thinking of pinion angle but looked away because most of the data attributed to it was shudder during acceleration. I may have to look into this more then.

What shim kit did you purchase to adjust the pinion angle?

After measuring and calculating what I needed. I looked on line for for 4.0° shims.
that would be compatible with the Ranger,
Every site I looked at was back ordered, but noticed O'Rilleys or Autozone next town over had 5.0° shims in stock for the Ford F150...they were 0.5" wider than the Ranger shims, but with a little cutting and grinding I made them fit...The extra 1.0° for axle wrap, turned out to be only 0.4° after installing...

Awesome. Just to check, reading some of the threads, our pinion angle needs to be 5°-6°, is that right?

The transfer case output shaft angle is what it is,
Don't mess with it...After the Woods 1pc is installed the Pinion angle will need to be lowered (thick end of shim forward under the leafs) to get the Diff flange close to parallel with the Output flange angle...how much depends on the mods done to the suspension . Most people just replaced their drive shaft with the Woods 1pc. and got good results without the pinion angle adjustment...I did mine just because back in my street racer days that is what we did after engine, transmission, drive shaft swaps

Got it. I also thought the Wood's 1pc shaft would solve my issue but it didn't. I may have to adjust my pinion angle. I was just thinking of ordering the TSB shim kit and play around with it to see if it will help. I guess I need to go measure my current pinion angle first.

Luckily I had a old school ford mechanic that knew about about Toe and camber when doing my allignment. Dialed me right in. The guy before didn't have a clue.
