I am afraid also for the people carrying depending on the state this is very likely not a justification to use force, at least lethal force and will just create a lot of conflict and danger for all parties involved

From a legal standpoint again depending on the state even brandishing or pulling a gun is considered using lethal force and you must have met the qualifications for a justification defense (burden of proof is also shifted to the defendant) or you will be prosecuted. also disclaimer not a laywer and this isn't legal advice

I think these idiots should be concerned about other things people carry.

naw if someone shoots one or beats them etc. then the thug becomes the hero martyr for the mislead brain washed masses and the property owner within his or her rights will be the one demonized. we need to hire space aliens to abduct all the thugs and fools. that way no finger pointing. maybe a few probings or dna experiments on them will make them better adjusted to other humans... im a much better person these days.??

Depending on what state you are in you don't have a right to use lethal force against these clowns anyway so you end up going down for most likely manslaughter
