Just a suggestion for you fuel consumption savings. I suggest you get the Gas buddy ap for your smart phone. Apply for a Gas Buddy card, no charge. Link it to your checking account or whatever. You will save money every gallon you buy immediately.

Right now at my fav station, its $159, $1.89, $1.89.... With the card, it's $1.53, $1.75, $1.75
Thats about 6 cents a gallon. Last week, I saved 13 cents a gallon. Every day its a different deal. Click on your fav station and compere it to lowest and highest around your area. It may not sound like a lof of savings, but it will add up.

Lucky you, here in Colorado we have 85, 87 and 91.

Between 91 and 93 there will be a difference but it will be marginal. Regardless of any tune you get the EcoBoost engines love premium fuel.
The hp and torque numbers in the FPP tune description are using 93 octane. So of course they won't be as high when using 91 octane. I'll still see substantial gains over stock I think. The ability to disable the gear skipping will be nice as well.

So in states where 93 is not available,91 should be an adequate substitute, without needing any type of retune?

I keep getting the feeling this tune is more of a headache than it's really worth. Almost $1k from start to finish? Is it really worth it vs 3rd party tuner? I also don't get the warm and fuzzies when dealerships can't even figure out how to flash a tune.

Yep, 50 State legal. I ordered mine last week. $624 bucks (plus installation) for 45ish horsepower and 60ish lb/ft of torque is worth it for me. I run 91 octane in all of my vehicles anyway. Plus I can adjust for larger diameter tires after I wear out the OEM's and do away with the "skip shift" for better driveability. I'll probably do a "straight thru" muffler as well then call it good.
That’s awesome $624+installation is a killer deal. Was that through a Ford dealer? I haven’t been able to find it for under $749 with MountuneUsa

Levittown Ford has the best price (typically) online but there appears to be a hell of a long wait for these.

Yes. Order from Levittownfordparts.com. If you email them they will send you a code for free shipping. And they did not charge tax either. Best deal out there for sure.
The kit is back ordered until the middle of June at the earliest.

Higher than 91 octane fuel is definitely available at at least one station in Northern California (Bay Area)...

I always wished this place was closer to home, long drive from Martinez.

Take fuel cans :like:
lol. A long time ago I used to have a Ducati motorcycle that was dyno tuned for 100 octane, i had about four 5-gallon gas cans and would drive down to Sunol Superstop and fill them up with 100 octane. That stuff isn't cheap either, plus i am much older and lazier now.
