So what’s involved with the tune for the engine?
change thermostat and spark plugs? Is that it?as far as the engine goes?
does the heater still heat good in the winter?
Like other said; handheld thing talking to the ECM, etc.

I am pretty sure their tune will do what the LMS tuner does - you will get to see EVERY warning screen that Ford programs in as it rewrites stuff. It might make some panic to see that amount of crazy.


The funniest warning was the one that said to read the owner's manual. Not 100% sure what triggers that one unless the truck senses you are an idiot and need to read said book.

With the tune will it shift through all the gears in D or just in sport mode like stock tune?
where I mostly fill up at has 90 octane
do I get the 89 or 91?
?

Do you have to gap the spark plugs .028?
I did not. I had a EB mustang a few years ago, and when I tuned it, I went with a step colder plug and changed the gap. Never really saw much a benefit. This time I just added the tune.
