I posted earlier this week about Torrie going above and beyond when the SCT and my 2023 Ranger werent playing nice together. On Monday, he asked me to send him the stock file, I did, and then they did something and had me do another update on the device, then load a different tune to the truck, and then check for updates again. Once I did that, I could then flash the truck with the Unleashed tune. It worked! I went with the 93 performance Tune with the @TORQUERULES shift strategy. Truck drives great now! The tranny doesn't seem to be "hunting" for gears, especially at lower speeds. I think the Octane learn is still happening, but so far, my truck is much faster than it was on the stock tune. Thanks Torrie! If anyone is debating on whether or not to pull the trigger on a tuner, I'd strongly recommend Unleashed. They're great!

Glad you like it. He is very easy to work with and knows Ecoboosts VERY well. He has been tuning them for a very long time.
I am curious as to the difference in the shift strategy that he developed for you, versus the one that he would have used had I not asked for the "Torquerules" one. Do you know?

Yes, since I worked with him on revision after revision. I believe I talked about it here (pages 10 and 11):

So what’s involved with the tune for the engine?
change thermostat and spark plugs? Is that it?as far as the engine goes?
does the heater still heat good in the winter?

Remap the ECU (by a “computized”) handheld tuner .

So you don’t have to change thermostat or spark plugs?

I've been extremely happy with Torrie and Unleashed.

I was holding out to use a local tuner and hptuners hardware due to the fact that a local custom tune was my only previous experience.

After a while I caved in and went the easy route. I still had a few trepidations about remote tuning but Torrie and Unleashed cleared those up rather quickly.

The thermostat and plug change are pretty unnecessary. I just did the tune itself which is pretty straightforward.

The tune does not require any changes as far as the engine goes. The heater, well it will work the same.

Yeah, the heater function doesn't change. Odd question to ask, but there you are.

So after the tune is installed,no need to use S mode? Will the auto start/off be disabled?

S mode is even better with the tune. Truck really wakes up. Yes, the tune will disable ASS if you want.
