The damper deploys a drone parachute to slow you down.so what happens if you dont put 93 in the tank?
is it detrimental, or do you just not reap the power benefits?
I only ask, because sometimes you have to hunt for 93.
First offense defense of Fort even let you keep the stock tune. There have already been reports of people not being able to use the stock tune after installing the Ford performance tune. Sounds pretty silly but it is the truth. With that said I say go with Livernois and you can go to whatever to need like. The tow tune allows you to go anywhere from 87 up to 93 octane without a problem. How about uninstalling the ford performance tune and using 87
; how long does it take to uninstall?
Livernois is the tune on the ford tuner.First offense defense of Fort even let you keep the stock tune. Do yourself a favor and do not go with Five Star Tuning. They have big problems in their software. Also the little calibrator that you get with Ford performance and Livernois the calibrator itself is the same but the tunes are still different. Also it will allow you to go up to any size of type to use. It goes by tire rotation not by inches.Livernois is the tune on the ford tuner.
Step one of the tune is to download your factory settings before installing tune.
Im willing to bet those that cant switch back had their local dealer install the tune and skipped a step..
Levittown ford is selling the ford tuner for $650 right now.. comes with the drop in k&n filter.. it also allows tire size calibration.. upto a 31.5 tire.. (this is my hang up i have 32.6)
5 star warranty is through stage 3 or at least the guy that blew his motor running the 5 star tune was told..
He has yet to post updates.. he does not blame the tune for motor failure..
I was going to go with ford tuner as i dont want to add stupid power. I just want a tow tune and tire size correction..Do yourself a favor and do not go with Five Star Tuning. They just updated with the sentence about towing in the last couple days. Was not there before....perhaps our “complaining” compatriot did some good by speaking out.....just saying. It's right there in the description idk what all the hoopla is about?,?
100% of rapist drink water.Do yourself a favor and do not go with Five Star Tuning. They have big problems in their software.
You think I'm wrong but I'm not. Up here in Colorado you get just their basic tune and you go into the high elevation you will go into limp mode. It has already been proven. They have to put in a special tune for high-elevation for who knows what reason. With Livernois poor performance and Unleashed you don't have to. Just stating the facts here100% of rapist drink water.
I'm not saying anything is untrue, but vague statements like this help no one.
See thread " I think I Threw A Rod"5 star does offer their own warranty though I believe if you buy it
True and well said.It did not say that previously. It said nothing about towing at first, then months later (after release) stated "towing not recommended" (what the hoopla was about) and now has been updated to be O.K. for towing.
It's surprising that you know of the topic but didn't bother to read it. The whole situation is right there.
Unleashed Motorsports. I have their tune and would certainly recommended it. No kinda warranty might be the hangup for some people...I was going to go with ford tuner as i dont want to add stupid power. I just want a tow tune and tire size correction..
If i was going non ford tune there is a guy out of Florida that i'd go with.. im drawing a blank on the name right now though..
