That's one crazy rodent lol...yesterday, I was washing my wife's car and there was a 6 foot black friendly serpent near her tire...I got the yard blower and thought I shooshed it away then parked her car in the garage...later that day I come out and see this snakes head sticking out of her rear wheel !!! Ok, I need to fix this without the serpent ending up somewhere in my garage so I slowly back her car out hoping the snake would stay in the wheel...nope...now it's in my garage...so back to the blower and that finally encouraged the black snake out and away to find rodents...I have another ground hog story that took a bit longer to get rid of lol....
Should have just turned all your lights on.

The ground hogs who were taking residence in my backyard were as persistent as OP's...my house is pretty lit up as you might imagine...but that was useless in this case...it took many carefully placed .22 wizzing over their heads to persuade them to move out of this rough neighborhood... ?

1 oz buck shot. Through the front. If that doesn't work, through the side, if that doesn't work. From the top at an angle towards the block. Still doesnt work floor the gas pedal with the engine on for 30 seconds.

Works every time. But.....

If none of that works. Just gently use a water hose on it.
