Trouble adding gas from gas can to my Ranger

online, in the owners portal, in the glovebox, sometimes preloaded into sync (on newer cars) and accessible from good ol' 5G.

Have a regional grocery and convenience store chain that gives you fuel points for buying groceries and a discount on up to 30 gallons. I’ll take three five-gallon cans with me. At home I have a power steering fluid funnel that’s about 2 feet long and slides into the capless filler just fine. I cut 2” off the end so the hole was bigger and it flows faster.

Soooo, just want to say thank you to everybody on this forum for posting about the funnel. Just went through a category two hurricane here in Florida and now I have leftover gas from the generator. You can imagine I'm a bit tired and I haven't had a hot shower for 3 days so finding it on this forum is way easier than trying to squint and read a damn manual. Much appreciation to those of you who answered and just helped me out.
Fortunately I'm not one of those guys who keeps $4,000 worth of ladders, coolers and other crap in my garage while my $50,000 truck sits outside during a hurricane.

Strange why they included the funnel with the purchase of the truck. Did they think hey, people are going to want a funnel.
But then with the tow package, they don't include the brake controller?

I put mine in a small baggie with some paper towels & keep it in the rear door storage cubie. Don't know if I'll need it but I know were it is at & easy to get to.

These 5 gallon gas can spouts from Amazon fit the capless filler perfectly without spilling gas. I installed a vent with a cap on the can to allow the gas to flow much faster, empties the 5 gallons in about 30-45 seconds.

Yes, these fit the 5 gallon poly gas and water cans, I wasn't happy with the included vent so bought a better one.
