Seeing a lot of our friends up North with Tremors here... Is the Tremor marketed better in Canada or something? I haven't seen a single other one here in the New England area since it came out. See a lot of Raptors, some ZR2s, but very few rangers in general and absolutely no Tremors. Interesting

In general I do not see many Rangers and I have not yet seen another Tremor on the road out here in the Vegas area. Some travels to Utah, AZ and CA, just not many Rangers around. I am just thinking the USA market is not yet "aware" there is a Ranger in the USA again. That or were put off with the exaggerated rake from the factory. The truck looks awesome level, the Tremor stance is what the FX4 should have had too. Might have helped with early adoption. The engine is way under rated too. I was one of those people for a while.

Shoot I think I see a lot more older rangers still than the new ones lol. They just don't seem to die which I hope is the case for this gen too.

I want to see sales go up some more before the new model to help us concrete the aftermarket. I think current aftermarket is not bad, especially for the truck coming back in 2019.

Hey all, new owner here as of last week. I sort of dumb lucked into getting one. I had not been in the market for a new car, but had paid off my 2017 Outback and started getting calls from local dealers wanting to buy it. Had been considering a truck at some point so just randomly popped over to local dealer and they had a 2021 Lariat Tremor with tow package on the lot that someone had ordered and was in the process of backing out on (hope he isn't on this forum ... if so, thanks and sorry). They offered me $500 over MSRP and gave me good trade in on my Outback, so two days later this was in my driveway.

I have only done small mods at this point (tailgate dampener lol and stubby antenna), but plan on replacing the steps with a true slider (Shrockwork on order), putting on some flaps (these tires throw rocks like crazy), and putting a folding hard cover on the bed so I can feel comfortable transporting gear in the bed.

Man your gonna love that truck. Coming from another crossover, the Tremor is so smooth off road lol. Well, we still have it, a '16 Honda Pilot AWD w/mods but not it feels like a sedan compared to the Ranger. It served me well on trails and camping trips but once it cools down I can't wait to take the Tremor for a weekend camping trip. I will just need to bring my tent instead, will miss sleeping in the Pilot.

May 9th, picked up my Carbonized Gray Lariat Tremor with the Ford Power Pak, Ford performance (Borla) exhaust. Now have 45 more HP! This rig is so fun to drive in Sport Mode with the Traction Control off on the street. The extra torque is amazing on and off road as well. I am very happy with this so far.
My daughter just got a new Tacoma TRD 4x4 Off Road which is very nice, however dad's truck is a lot faster and way more FUN to drive. So far I put on the tailgate damper, Three piece folding tonneau cover, bed mat. and tailgate extender. I have ordered front and rear black ford ovals and casing, raised letters for the tailgate and front grille. I just got the windows tinted so it's coming along very well. I am looking forward to a lot of trail time. I hope to see some of your Tremors out there.
Peace,
Tom

TREMOR UPDATE: CSX says it was "placed in industry" - assuming that means offloaded and waiting on a truck for it's final 100 mile voyage to the dealership?

So I finally took her out off-roading and she did great…until we got back to pavement and the General Grabbers started slinging rocks all over the place. Even after pulling into a gas station after driving about 5 miles, there were a ton of rocks embedded in the tires. One of the design flaws these tires lack compared to BFG KO2s and others are the little rock rejectors in between the tread. After these tires wear I’m definitely making the switch back to BFG KO2s.

True on the tires. Will the ko2 in the exact same size as stock tires on tremor fit with no rub? I know we are close to our crash bar’s already

I just looked at tire rack and the two tires are identical numbers wise. Should be no issue.

I only have 350 miles on my truck, but I've already had a number of uncomfortable experiences with the rock chucker tires. So I got the Gatorback mudflaps (for the front, my state requires the dealer install them in the rear). I haven't used them yet, but they look like they offer substantial protection.

Sorry for the dirt, I swear I washed it yesterday.

I know exactly how you feel. It almost feels like you’re driving down a street with people tossing rocks at your truck. I can’t wait to swap them out. Pretty good marketing as they definitely “Grab” all the rocks.

Yeah Honestly that is the only thing I do not like about these tires. Otherwise they do good off road. Been in sand and rocky terrain, awesome otherwise. They are not exactly cheap, seem priced about the K02 so I guess General gave Ford a better discount?

My only other comparison are the Nitto Ridge Grapplers I have on our other vehicle and they have done great, no rock slinging issues either. A little noisy compared to the Tremor tires. The Nitto seem a little better in rain on-road though.

I may try K02 once these wear, I wanted to go up a size for a true 32" tire rather than these 31.5".

First round of simple mods done. Gatorback mud flaps, Wolf Haus 12V kit (awesome by the way), swing case, bed liner, 2" stubby antenna, and of course the DeeZee damper (which I installed with the label facing the wrong way like an idiot). Next up, pending funds and parts: subwoofer in rear seat cubby, bed cover, off-road lights, another swing case(?)
