Tremor color combo with topper/bed cap

UPDATE:

Looks like it's all moot now, as I can't get a good enough deal worked out. We're off by about $2,000 from where I convinced myself I'd pull the trigger, so looks like I'll keep the '19 for now.

Opinions?

I have an opportunity to trade my '19 Lariat FX4 for a '22 Tremor. I want to keep my topper and put it on the Tremor. Tremor is Velocity Blue, topper is Magnetic Gray. I'm thinking it would look alright with all the Magnetic Gray accents on the Tremor?

Thoughts?

I would run it like it is and save some money up front. That's the Polish in me talking. ? Like you said it should look good with the magnetic accents on the Tremor. Worse case is you don't like it and have to topper painted Velocity Blue later on.

On a side note you'll really love the Tremor over '19 Fx4. I absolutely love my new Tremor and have zero complaint with 7,000 miles on it now.

I think it would look good... but that's probably Dave's Polish influencing/brainwashing me... now where's my damper... you could always get the camper vinyl wrapped to match or contrast the blue and maybe a magnetic stripe on the truck to pull it all together

honestly see what they will give you with the topper. if it's decent just take the hit and get a new one or live with it and repaint. but I don't think it's gonna look that good... sorry ?

I think you could get away with that colour combination. As mentioned, if you don’t like it you can get it repainted. I’m sure that’s still less expensive than selling it or trading it and re-ordering.

If I rem correctly someone on here had a HPR with a Magnetic cap and it looked really nice with the Magnetic accents

If I put this deal together, I'll keep my cap and decide after it's installed. I do have a couple of guys that could paint it for me if I decide it needs it. But if it looks good with the magnetic cap, maybe I'll get a custom magnetic grey Tremor-style graphic made. That could maybe tie it all together nicely.

First I need to see if we can put a deal together. I took the Tremor in on trade on Saturday at our dealership. I know I can get a decent deal on it, just comes down to what the boss will do for me on the trade value on mine...

It all comes down to the deal my boss and I can put together on the sale price and trade value.
'22 Lariat Tremor with 14k miles vs '19 Lariat FX4 with 42k miles. I had thought, for the last 2 years, about doing the "Tremor" package to my FX4, but IF I can do the swap for LESS THAN 2X the cost of the upgrades to my truck, that would make it a pretty good deal. My truck is paid for.
A short test drive after I took the Tremor in on trade got me thinking pretty seriously. ?

My 4 cents (inflation), keep the '19 unless you have specific concerns with it. You've made it gorgeous.
