Diff gear ratio's are more important with a standard tranny. Just run the 10speed auto in sport mode.

Just a heads up 4.70s have been done on the Sema build danatrak ford ranger. It looks like they're marketing them for the broncos m190 only but it should spill over. I am curious to know if the chevy Colorado m190 uses same ring and pinion as ours.

The Bronco you can order the stronger M220 for the front. The M190 is rated for a maximum 32" tire.
It does not make sense to me to run 4.70 Gears with a weaker axle setup. For the Ford Ranger you would need a Ring and Pinion for the back M220 and front M190.
