Tractor beam engaged?

Thought I saw someone mention this but search didn't find anything. Weird. Went to get gas today. Went to start truck at station and everything froze. Every warning light came on. Brake wouldn't depress. Scary as hell. Waited a second and cursed a bit, then tried starting it again and OK.
Every warning came on and the dash looked like a Christmas tree. Any idea what the hell caused that?

but seriously, alot of those warnings are likely secondary to one simple cause.

I wonder if you have a loose battery terminal?

These codes were coming up even after I got home and restarted ecm viewer. Will check... thanks.....

Too bad you reset the PCM, now the dealer will have less to go off of. Why not just bring it it?

I didn’t reset it. Just read it.
Rather not hear the dealer yell for making mods, adding lights, etc.
I will if I have to. Was just hoping a mechanic on here would give me a heads up.

To enter engineering test mode:
1. Unlock truck, get in close door
2. Press and hold OK on the left steering wheel button 10-15 seconds
3. While holding OK insert key into ignition and turn to RUN
4. You’ll see ET appear in your display — release ok button
5. Use the up and down arrows to scroll through
Things you can check
Battery charge
Gauge sweep
Fuel in tank
Live rpm data if you started the truck
Live fuel consumption if you started
Various codes
Other engineer stuff

Wouldn't my ecm/forscan reader tell me the same stuff or is there something engineering mode shows that the reader doesn't?
The reader shows no errors, just the crazy log like I showed above...

DTCs that start with a U are network codes, P codes are powertrain and B codes are for body. Looks like it may have a network issue.

I've seen this time to time with obd2 accessory devices that can sometimes cause interruptions on the can network during startup. Could be something with that?

It may require a dealer to perform a live network test if it's intermittent. Could be a module, a ground issue, communication circuit issue. I've even seen very strong RFI cause network problems.

As it reads... I’d say a harness has a short to ground. Could be related to the harness recall? Do the rear tail lights work?
