I recently discovered you can buy those honeycomb sheets and plan to make my own custom grill. I want to keep the factory "snouts", but ditch the square grating/grill and logo in the middle.

I looking into keeping those vertical pieces but it you have had mismatched mesh on the grill and that was my main objective. Uniformity.

I built the grill to clear the light mount and the LP4s. I didn’t really want any lights hanging out of the front of the truck. That’s what drove me to modifying the grill so much.

Thanks! My question was, what light mount did you use and where is it bolted on the chasis.

I built the light mount myself. And there is some bolts on either side of the intercooler that I used

Thank you, I was also thinking those are useful, yet I was wondering if it would be sturdy enough.

So far so good! I wanted to make individual light mounts on each side but that would be a lot of bending to make a very crazy mount. Not with the headache. So I kept it simple.

Yeah that sounds like a great idea too! I needed to modify the grill to clear the lights so I went ahead and used the existing bolt holes on either side of the intercooler to make the mount.

Got the gear plate bed lined this week. Getting everything coming in to start the electrical setup for the bed area. Victron Energy and LionEnergy will be the majority of the dual battery system going in the bed.
