The #10 nuts keep popping out of the bracket when you tighten the Allen screws, constantly going out of alignment, and nothing snugs up nice and tight. I strongly advise against these at this point. Following video and pdf to the T. Putting the XL version on a Tremor. Just taking a break from putting back ones on after 2 hours. Not looking forward to the front. I see these being part of the local car wash first trip through to be honest. Ugh! Thanks for letting me vent. :)

I think you might have pressed the nuts in from the wrong side... I agree the instructions are not the best, but once I took a step back to think about the physics/mechanics instead of trying to read the instructions, everything snugged up nicely.

I think you are correct. I just zoomed waaaaay in on the PDF and they appear to be pressed in on the etched side with the etched side toward the liner. Also appears they have a black colored adhesive or Locktite type product between the nut and the bracket. Working off PDFs suck in bright sunlight on phone! I’d rather have printed instructions in with the flaps but nowadays everything digital and QR code crap! Thanks for helping this old timer! Now I have something besides the fronts to do after lunch. I’d buy you a case if you were local!

It’s worth it! The front ones are a little less fun. The torx bolts size on the instructions were different on my Tremor. And don’t forget to hit the screws with some black paint when you are finished.

Well thats what happens when you go for show over function.

After using silicone spray on the c-clips my molded-guards installed in like 20 minutes.

I honestly didn't have any issues. I did the front ones in the parking lot of my dealer before I even left the lot, after hearing about the stories of how the Tremor tires threw rocks really bad. Installed the rears when I got home in under 20 minutes total.

I will say, the paper instructions were not good. I watched the youtube video twice, and from there, it was smooth and easy sailing.

Many threads on the fact that molded flaps do not fit the tremor. Due to the wider wheel-lip moulding, the profile is different that non-Tremor models.

Agree they are a PITA to install. Overpriced too. I guess they look nice though and they do the job keeping rocks off the paint.

I had the rear ones rip off over the winter. One when I backed up an parked on a massive snow pile because snow piles were taking up a third of the parking an one I don't know what happened to it. I assume it came off from the weight of the snow/slush buildup behind the wheels in the winter.

I wasn’t too easy on mine this winter, still all present and accounted for.
I do agree they are expensive for what you get.

Retired for now!

As the others have mentioned, the nuts were seated from the wrong side. However, the video instructions are incorrect. They tell you to put them in that way if you follow their video instructions exactly with what side they go on and how the nuts are positioned reference to the lettering or etched side. It took me a minute to figure it out as well. After I repositioned the nuts in the correct way, they went on my Tremor fine. It does take a while to install them though. Good Luck!

Installing them where pretty straight forward, took me about an hour. Since installing them they have yet to move. I didn't think I was going to like them as much as I do. They look great.
