We’re heading up to Phoenix this morning and got a picture of Picacho Peak off the I-10. It’s a 3,300 foot peak at the summit that you can hike up and around it. Pretty cool how stuff like this was formed from the remnants of volcanoes.

You KNOW that's on the itinerary!
We rarely pass up an opportunity to stop there. 😜 You’d think where we are now being only 40 minutes from the border there’d be some good Mexican restaurants but there isn’t. Someone just told us about a good one up in Tucson so we’ll probably try that one next time we’re up there.

It was delicious as always! Like most places they did make them smaller now and of course raise the price. But the service and food is always great there. Next stop Scottsdale to get the hutch I had made for Annie.

I have been to the top of the peak. There is a solid rock wall about 20 ft high that has toe holes and chains that you have to pull yourself up. Margie waited for me to return a couple hours later. The solid rock wall is the first thing you encounter on the climb. View from the top is great!

Little Mexico on E. Valencia just East of I19 in a strip mall. Also off Valencia up 12th street is El Güero Canelo Restaurant for the best Sonoran Hotdogs...Called Sammy dogs, https://elguerocanelo.com/elguerocanelo1?utm_source=google

Here in Green Valley is Los Agaves and Manuel's for okay Mexican Food.

Thanks Phil! We did go to the Manuels in GV back in the summer and I thought it was the same chain as up in the valley but it's not and the food wasn't all that great and the service was worse. We'll have to try the others and maybe we can get together one day and go out for Mexican? 🌮🌯

Saw this nasty car fire on our way home. The car just pulled of the exit ramp and the police were just getting there right before us and Annie could just see it as we went by. I hope everyone was alright and got out safe.

Hi Dave,

You are on! And, okay cat is out of the bag...Dave and Annie came over to our house in Green Valley for the first time we had ever met each other through many years of posting, It was a great outing that lasted well beyond the standard 3 hours. And No, I did not buy any 303 products!
They also saw Tito who was in ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ land in Margie's painting studio.

Yeah, Margie and I do not go to Manuels as it was poor service and it is so loud in the winter. There is another place we go that is a Beer and Burger place called The Garage...used to be Coaches..Sports bar but burgers are good, and Margie has a favorite quesadilla offering.

This is another picture that I took last Friday afternoon after I got home, and before the sleet and snow started coming down.
This is looking to the South.

The hit and miss cell phone service is why I couldn't post this one last Friday lol.

29" snowfall on top drew me to the cabin. Will be up on top of Brundage tomorrow. It sure looks good in this reflection shot. Usually Payette lake is frozen this time of year.
