I'm very thankful for those little satellites. My new Starlink purchase is whats making this post possible.I had a few friends and customers send me these pics which they saw from here in AZ.Crazy how close it is coming out of CA and of course I missed it.
It's the SpaceX Falcon 9 launched from Vandenberg AFB in California and I guess Elon is launching the Starlink internet service Satellites.

One ran out in front of me on the way to work the other day. Usually, around here, they are smaller than the one in your pic. This one was just as big, though not as spotted. Kind of freaked me out!Bobcat. There's a lot of them up in that area (Verrado) as there's a lot of open desert there.
Think I’ll stay down this way! They’re around, but not as many, I hope.Backyard shots: I'll take this

It’ll do!Well, it ain’t pretty but I had to take this photo when I saw it.
Here’s how to convert your old satellite TV dish into a hillbilly diy gazebo to go with that old lawn furniture you have kicking around…I don’t think it comes with, or even needs an installation guide….

The only thing missing is a still.

Oh man, when I lived in British Columbia, I had a close encounter with a black bear once and another time with a cougar while mountain biking. Both times, I saw them, turned downhill and pedalled the heck out of there fast before they could take an interest in me.Backyard shots: I'll take this

Those shots are ten feet from the back door when we lived in Lake Arrowhead. It was like we had a wildlife corridor back there.Oh man, when I lived in British Columbia, I had a close encounter with a black bear once and another time with a cougar while mountain biking. I’ll take take that Bobcat over the other two any day - you can throw a 30-40 lb cat pretty far. You can’t throw a 150-200 lb hungry Mountain Lion more than a foot or two, even less when it has its jaws around your neck and it’s claws dug into your shoulders á la Siegfried & Roy, and a black bear can throw a skinny mountain biker further than the mountain biker can throw a Bobcat.….and then it will chew your leg off.
Here in the city, it’s just me and the squirrels. ? ? Even at that, I’m not so sure of my chances. ?
in the picture it almost looks like you have a air cleaner or snorkel stack. must be something in the back ground. great picture

I’ll stand behind you while you do it!

One thing I use to like with large snow storms is that most people would be off the roads and I had them mostly to myself. I remember driving around one night in my F150 during a huge storm and the roads were empty and it was so quiet and peaceful.Almost that time again...
