Yeah, that's probably slow speed sounds, intentional so others around know the vehicle is moving...
Perhaps, but she seriously seemed to have a hard time controlling it. Like the throttle control at low speed manuvering was a real pain. It was really weird watching her trying to inch it back and forth. Like the power was not there when she needed it, then there was too much power when she didn't need it.

It is much easier to drop a few nukes and sterilize the planet!

There we go, all fresh and clean! And it will stay clean for a few thousand years.

Updated thought:

Everything on this planet is part of the planet. Humans do what humans do. Just like every other species.

The ecosystem is self correcting.

The last major correction began 16,000 years ago, and by 12,000 years ago the megafauna (Saber tooth tigers, Mammoths, Giant Ground Sloths, etc) had largely disappeared from the planet.

Humans have had 3 near extinctions, 2 relatively recently.

150,000 years ago the earth became both cold and dry. It is believed that the population of humanity dropped down to 600 individuals. Location and intelligence saved those few.

70,000 years ago the Toba super eruption occurred. Humanity was already under duress as the climate was extremely cold and dry. The eruption threw enough ash into the atmosphere to dim the sun for 6-7 years. Experts believe the population dwindled to 1,000-10,000 people. The ecosystem of the entire planet changed, Forests disappeared and grasslands grew up in their place.

As a child I watched the Everglades go from flooding one year to severe drought with massive fires the next, with man trying to control that ecosystem through a vast network of canals. They failed at every turn. Man's arrogance will be his demise. Trying to control the uncontrollable is a fool's errand.

This planet will be here long after man exits the scene. As George Carlin famously said "maybe the earth created man because it wanted plastic."

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Spot on. Look around. Typically the more educated folks are having no kids, or one kid, or maybe two. Now look at that asshat over there that has $3 in the bank and the intelligence of a bar of soap. Yep. Six kids. With another on the way.

Human race is absolutely having the average IQ of the population decreased with each generation. Sad.

Wasn't this the plot of Idiocracy? It's not birth in general, just the wrong types of births. A one child policy for sub-100 IQ (really a more comprehensive test should be designed) would work great. Welfare encourages the opposite of this. Meanwhile give tax breaks for the smartest. For example a home loan that, for each child a quarter of it is canceled. Four children = loan is paid off. This was tried decades ago to great effect because “Over a period of ten years, a family with four children brings in much more than our loans, through the taxes levied on a hundred different items of consumption.”

You're doing it wrong. Drink the tomato soup, glue yourself to a painting, and throw yourself into the road. Thanks for playing.

Better yet, teach a class how to do it the correct way!
