All the wheels were in tact it was the rear end the fell out which (for now) there's no 303 Dif fluid.

Ill, be hanging out around here most definitely, very lively forum. Plus i drove a 5g for 98000 miles. So i have some wheel time, plus pulling trailers, cant wait to tow with the new one, wider stance by like half an inch but shocks outside frame, so that has to make a difference. And i think this will be it for a while. Been trading trucks every 2 years lately.
This new ranger says it can back up trailers??? I dont know, i dont trust it yet. Cant wait to tow

I think they shift better, the 6th Gen has the 10R60 like the Bronco.

ETA: I found this post over on the 6G site and it looks like some are reporting the same chunkiness.

I like my 2024 Ranger Lariat a lot, and somewhere on this site is a post I wrote describing why I really prefer it over the new Tacoma. FWIW, I'm less sure I would buy it again now, and the reason is the transmission. The engine (2.7) is a wonderful thing; the transmission I've found less so. It's totally fine 98% of the time, but once in a while it has clunky and unpredictable down-shifts. It did smooth out after a few thousand miles, but it still does it with some regularity. Of course the dealer says nothing to be done unless I can replicate it when they're driving it, but with an intermittent shifting issue, that's pretty much impossible. I am reluctantly used to it. Note: there are not widespread transmission issues reported with this truck, so probably I'm just over-sensitive, but I come from ZF transmissions which have always been flawlessly smooth for me, so there it is.

My wife has a 21 Ranger 2.3 and It shifts way better than my 24 Ranger 2.7
Hers shifts right away Mine has a delay and won't shift if I lift on the throttle a little the RPMs are
at 4k or so and stays there till I give it more gas then shifts . I would like mine to shift and a lower RPM.
