Cleaning a car at home is an easy task if you have the cleaning product like-
  • A pressure washer
  • Car wash soap
  • Foam cannon
  • Clean water
  • Glass cleaner
  • Microfiber towel
  • Wax
I have all these things and I do this job on my own. I follow these steps to wash my car-
  • At first, I park it in a shady place
  • Then I use soap with a foam cannon
  • Wash it with clean water
  • Dry it with microfiber towel
  • Clean the glasses with glass cleaner
  • Wax the paint
If you don't know too much about it, you can read the detail of the cleaning process.

For those apt living that don’t have access to a hose, you might want to take a look at Ammo NYC products:

Turtle Wax car wash concentrate
5 gallon bucket with Grit Guard insert and bucket dolly
Garage Monkey Ultra-Soft car wash brush with 8 foot handle
Chemical Guys Chemille wash mitt
Liquid X wheel wooly (strictly for wheels)
Craftsman 18 volt cordless leaf blower
several large microfiber cloths
Turtle Wax and Dry spray

Assembling all this stuff together is a lesson in logistics.

Seriously considering getting a foam cannon, but need to do research on the process, will browse the forum or ask here, any suggestions guys?
I got a foam cannon off of Amazon and it really great with my pressure washer. Easy to use. You gotta use foaming car wash in it. And I think you use the soap sprayer nozzle which is usually black, on the pressure washer if I remember correctly. I was just thinking the other day I might need to do it again and get another one. I think it sold at a yard sale couple years ago because I got too lazy to use it but I think I need to start again, especially since I dumped as much money into my new truck as I have.

Some years ago I use to wash mine right before rain, tho sometimes I got caught in it.
I wonder if you just use the foam cannon on it maybe like that one above this post and just left it alone and let the rain rinse it off what would happen? Either way, you don’t get hard water stains on the windows. For those that do get hard water stains on the windows, I found goof off or it’s competitor, I forget what it’s called, takes it right off. I wonder if rubbing alcohol would do it also?

30 bucks a month... unlimited drive thru.

That’s what I use. Although I’m thinking of canceling them because they say that’s the worst thing for a vehicle. This new one I just got came a plate armor but talking to a detail friend of mine who happens to be a warranty guy for that company, he says all that really is is a sealer that probably is gone already after a wash or two. He said we’re really just paying for the warranty, although he said they’re good about it. He does the ceramic coating and offered it to me for half price at $750. I’m definitely going to do it.

When I had a beemer, I washed it with kid gloves, waxed it by hand, buffed it, complete interior detailing.

I got old. Have never washed the truck since I bought it in March. May never will.
