EDIT:I had turned on the AdvancedTrack-Control feature, and even rewriting the asbuilt backup didn't unset it. I found my answer on saeb.net.

For some reason I thought I'd try pushing the TCS button today. I know it's worked at least once or twice in the past, but today it does absolutely nothing. The only weird things I've noticed recently is I had a bunch of faults from ice buildup on the front of the truck, and a week or two before that I got an email that my truck was going to sleep due to inactivity (I was out of town for 16 days).

All of the other buttons work that are around the ECS button, and the button does light up like normal. It doesn't feel sticky or odd like something got spilled in it, it just doesn't do anything whatsoever.

Does anybody have any ideas or experience with the same thing?

Can't help with TCS button question, but the email from your truck is something that happens after about 14 days of non-use. It is the BMS (battery management system ) shutting things down to conserve battery power. You won't be able to remote start or maybe unlock with the fob until you start the truck and run it for awhile to top off the battery.

You should still beablt to unlock the truck with the fob as that will wake things back up.

For the TCS there may be a fault somewhere that needs to be checked out. My suggestion, take it to the dealer as the truck is still under warranty. Also when you do make sure that the service writer at the least sees this so it can be confirmed at the dealer and they dont turn a blind eye.

I was stating the email as it's the only thing that has happened recently that was "out of the ordinary"

I have 37K miles, so "under warranty" is only for powertrain stuff, and "electronics" are explicitly not covered in the powertrain warranty. I was hoping someone would say "unplug/replug this thingamabob and try again"

I can take it in, but the dealer is 1 hour away, and always keeps the truck over night...

Well that sucks....... If you are curious enough I would take a gander around the truck and see what you can find. There isn't and fault message coming on that you are aware of when you hit the TCS button is there?

Nope, no codes, nothing. I have a scantool and checked with Forscan. IDK, maybe I broke that switch somehow either physically or in software.
