Door lock not working

I have a ranger 2019 xlt fx4. Just got it from the paint shop after a couple touch ups. When I got it everything was working but the the door locks stopped working if i hit the door button or on the key you can only hear a tick but nothing happens it will unlock and activate the alarm but not lock any of the doors. Kept looking and a plug was hanging inside the tailgate and probably touched the tailgate causing the problem. Any ideas for a quick fix?

Sounds like something could've shorted out? I think you're better off bringing it back to the body shop and let them look at it. It was working when you dropped it off so I'd let them fix it. If you mess with it they could try and blame you for it.
